If you recieved an invitation to join a particular class, grab that out of the invitation email and enter it here. This will let you get automatically approved for the class; otherwise, the teacher will need to manually approve you. It also lets you speed through the registration process, since we already know something about you. The normal time for children to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Penance) for the first time is during the first semester of the second grade. Preparation for the Sacrament of First Holy Communion will begin after the catechesis and celebration of the Sacrament of First Reconciliation has been completed. The celebration of First Communion should be in the second semester of second grade. Students in higher grades will be accommodated in special classes when available. Any student who will be receiving these sacraments must have attended a minimum of 1 year of PSR or approved religious study. The Confirmation program begins in third grade and continues through eighth grade; therefore, continuous enrollment in the Parish School of Religion is required. Both 7 th and 8 th Grade classes focus preparing intentionally for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Everything missed from 7 th grade will need to be completed during the 8 th grade year.
